So yesterday was my amazing mother’s birthday! She turned 25 for like the 17th time….so younger than me, but that’s cool, I’ll turn that again one day 😉 Anyways, she asked me to make her a cake, obviously being the baker I am I happily obliged. So I asked her what she was craving, and lemon being one of her favorite flavors she told me that. Happy Leap Day! Now that is a first that I can actually say happy on a Monday…that doesn’t happen often. But this day only comes around once every 4 years, so one should celebrate accordingly. It’s Friday. It’s finally Friday! One more day til the weekend. I’m super excited for tomorrow! Tomorrow I am leaving for a much-needed girls weekend with one of my favorite people! We are going to the Twin Cities and getting a hotel and just hanging. Obviously there will be lots of shopping with the Mall of America being a main hub that we always go to.
