Slow Cooker Pumpkin White Hot Chocolate is a delicious, creamy and amazing drink that is perfect to warm up to on those chilly Fall nights!
So if you haven’t already realized, I’ve officially whipped out my slow cooker for the year.
Technically I haven’t ever really stopped using it at all, but now that Minnesota has officially entered Fall it is in more high use than it is any other time. I’m one of those who fully believe in using my slow cooker all year round!
I can’t believe that the leaves are falling off the trees already and the weather is now steadily in the 50’s and below. The ONE good thing about this weather is that since it has officially froze that our mosquitos population has been eradicated.
Woo-hoo for that. For those states that don’t have mosquitos, find yourself blessed. The are the worst!! Here in MN they are considered the state bird (not really but its a MN joke!)
Obviously with Fall brings all the Fall flavors and I couldn’t not make a delicious drink that didn’t incorporate pumpkin in some way shape or form! We adore hot chocolate in our house.
Like really really like it! My kids could live off of it, and so could my husband! Last year we made a delicious Slow Cooker Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate that didn’t last long!
So using that recipe I decided to give it a little Fall spin and make this seriously amazing Slow Cooker Pumpkin White Hot Chocolate!
WHAT INGREDIENTS DO YOU NEED?
- Sweetened condensed milk
- Heavy cream
- White chocolate chips
- Pumpkin puree
- Pumpkin pie spice
- Whipped Cream
I love recipes that are pretty much fix it and forget it, this recipe is just that.
HOW DO YOU MAKE THIS WHITE HOT CHOCOLATE?
Add all your ingredients into the crock pot, set it on low or high and sit and wait for it all to melt together. How much simpler can you get with that? I don’t think much.
So speaking of hot chocolate, our favorite of all time has so far (besides making homemade) has been this Choceur brand from Aldi and it was a mixed box of k-cups and they had this amazing salted caramel that was literally addicting.
I haven’t found it since, which is soooooo sad!! I think I’m going to have to do some searching online for the times that I don’t want to make homemade.
Ok, getting down more into THIS white hot chocolate.
This has a whole can of pumpkin puree in it! Add a little bit of pumpkin pie spice and top with some whip cream and you have yourself a pumpkin pie in delicious drinkable form.
I mean who doesn’t love pumpkin pie? Especially when you can have it in different ways that the traditional!

Slow Cooker Pumpkin White Hot Chocolate
- 1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 6 cups milk
- 1 12 oz package high quality white chocolate chips
- 1 15 oz can pumpkin puree
- 1 Tbs pumpkin pie spice
- Whipped Cream
- In 5qt slow cooker mix your sweetened condensed milk, heavy cream, milk, chocolate chips, pumpkin and pumpkin pie spice and stir well to combine.
- Heat on low for 3 hours or high for 1.5 hours stirring frequently.
- Pour desired amount in glass and top with whip cream and pumpkin pie spice if desired.
