If you are a coffee and alcohol lover then you will fall in love with this Espresso Martini. Minimal ingredients help this recipe whip up in minutes.
I’m a coffee lover at heart. I wake up my day a large glass of coffee and I continue drinking it throughout the day, I may be slightly addicted but I love the flavor.
That is why we absolutely love this Espresso Martini! It has the flavor of coffee and cream that turns an essential morning drink into a nighttime relaxing drink.
What I love about this most is that it has minimal ingredients and it is super easy to whip up. There really is no way you can mess this recipe up I promise!
Some of our favorite coffee flavored drinks/treats that we have on our site include White Russian, Hot Chocolate Affogato and Cold Brew Milkshake!
We just love all the coffee flavored stuff, but we love it even more when it contains some alcohol in it, I’m sure some of you can agree with me on that!
WHY THIS RECIPE WORKS:
- The ingredients are easily found at your local liquor store.
- You can make this in a cocktail shaker or a glass.
- You can substitute some ingredients to make it your flavor preference.
This Espresso Martini is just a really fun drink to make and we make them all the time. They are the perfect after dinner cocktail to watch a movie with or serve at parties.
Some of my other favorite coffee flavored drinks include Irish Coffee, B52 Shots and this Cold Brew Bourbon Cocktail.
HOW TO MAKE AN ESPRESSO MARTINI, STEP BY STEP:

- Shake well before pouring. (If using a large glass to mix, stir well and strain from ice).
- Pour into martini glass.
- Top with whipping cream, chocolate powder, or finely crushed espresso bean/powder if desired.
- Can be served over ice, or blended as well.
Seriously how can you get much easier than this! While this recipe I’m including for you only makes one, you can absolutely make a bunch more than that.
Since they are so easy to whip up and are so tasty, they really are hard to just stop at one anyways, so keep them bad boys coming I say!
WHAT’S IN IT?
For our Espresso Martini we use Espresso Vodka, Caramel Vodka, Irish Cream Liqueur and coffee creamer. The coffee creamer can be of your choice.
We used Cinnamon Vanilla creamer for this recipe, but any vanilla, sweet cream, cinnamon, caramel, etc would work. You can just play around and have some fun with it.
Besides you have coffee flavor and booze, how can you go wrong with that?! I mean it’s two of the best combinations ever, but that is my opinion so I may be biased.
Ok so I know I said that this is good as an after dinner drink, but it is also amazing for brunch. Switch up those Bloody Mary’s and make an Espresso Martini instead!
TIPS AND TRICKS:
- You can substitute the espresso vodka with real espresso of coffee.
- You can use any creamer that you like that compliments the drink.
- This recipe is for one drink, so it’s easy to double or more for guests and gatherings.
- We like to use a cocktail shaker but if you don’t own one a large glass and a strainer.
- The goal was to make this not taste like alcohol and it tastes more like a cold coffee.
- You can use any flavor of Irish cream Liqueur as well to change up the flavor.
- You can make a pitcher of this, but make sure it stays in the refrigerator and is drank within 24 hours.
