Want the perfect party food that every will love? These Veggie Pizza Pinwheels are full of vegetables and a ranch mix that makes them irresistible.
Appetizers are life over in this household. This Pinwheel recipe has been one that we fell in love with years ago when my sister in law brought them to a family gathering.
I wasn’t able to get the exact recipe from her because she said she just threw stuff together so I kinda had to recreate it on our own favorite Veggie Pizza recipe.
So if you are a big fan of Vegetable Pizza, then you know that you will be a huge an of these Veggie Pizza Pinwheels for sure, they are hand-held and super easy.
It really just takes all the ingredients from that traditional pizza recipe and puts them into a roll-up instead, I mean how better can it really get?
One of my kids absolutely loves vegetables and ranch, which is really hard to come by, so when I make these he is the first one who comes running and devours them.
WHY THIS RECIPE WORKS:
- With minimal ingredients these whip together fast.
- You can always switch out the vegetables to fit your liking.
- You can double or triple this recipe for potlucks or parties.

This Veggie Pizza Pinwheel Recipe really does make a bunch, the best guess estimate would be about 48, which is plenty to fill up our family to no end, which is fine because we absolutely love them.
We are those type of people who are always looking for fun and unique recipes for gatherings and this recipe is one that people have just fallen I love with.
We love appetizers as you should all know by now, and these are one of the favorites that we bring to most of the gatherings that we go to.
HOW TO STORE:
If you don’t plan on serving them right away, make sure that each roll-up is wrapped in Saran Wrap and stored in the refrigerator, these will last about 24 hours.
If you are serving right away, after chilling cut and try to serve within 1 day or they do have the potential to get soggy.
I do not recommend freezing these Veggie Pizza Pinwheels because when they defrost the cream cheese will leak moisture and the tortillas will become soggy, not a thing you would want.
These are always best served fresh if you can, but like I said if you cant then you can store then up to 24 hours before serving.
These are just a white because it’s a new way to get in your vegetables and people sense that they are eating more healthy, which I’m not sure is true, but I mean they can think it!
Some other appetizers we serve with these include:
Pinwheels have always been one of those recipes that we have gravitated to. There are so many pinwheel recipes out there either using tortillas or sometimes crescent rolls, and we love them all
These Veggie Pizza Pinwheels are a fun switch to just having a traditional vegetable and dip tray at your gathering for sure!
TIPS AND TRICKS:
- Make sure your cream cheese is at room temperature, makes it easier to combine..
- The longer you refrigerate the better they will hold up when cutting.
- Cut with a serrated knife, I have found that cutting pinwheels with this type of knife makes it so much easier to slice through.
- You can store in refrigerator up to 24 hours before serving, cut or uncut.
- You can switch up your vegetables that you like for anything.
If you want a fun and unique, delicious appetizer recipe you can not pass up these Veggie Pizza Pinwheels, they feed a crowd and are super addicting!

Could you use lite cream cheese and lite sour cream?
Tornadough Alli
Yes that would be fine.

Iโve made these many times, yum! But last night when I put the mix together it came out really soupy and unspreadable. I have no idea why, what happened or how to fix it.
Any suggestions on how to remedy the loose cream? Added, I have refrigerated it overnight and itโs still soupy and wonโt hold.
Tornadough Alli
That is super weird that youโve made it many times and itโs turned out but this time it didnโt. Did you use another brand of sour cream or cream cheese possibly?
Aly Celeste

That shouldnโt be an issue! It should set well and cut nicely the longer itโs chills.
