Absolutely! If you feel like making your own french fries for these Pizza Fries then go ahead.
We have two recipes that you could use – Baked French Fries and Air Fryer French Fries.
WHAT OTHER TOPPINGS CAN I USE?
You can really make these how you’d like. Our go-to is pepperoni because it is simple and easy. But there are so many other toppings, some ideas include:
- Cooked Italian Sausage
- Peppers, sauteed
- Onions, sauteed
- Mushrooms, sauteed
- Black or Green Olives
- Pineapple (yes don’t judge!)
- Shredded Chicken
- Canadian Bacon
Use any of your favorite pizza toppings for this recipe! Keep it simple or go all out.
WHAT TYPE OF CHEESE IS BEST TO USE?
If you really want to make it taste like pizza then I suggest using mozzarella, freshly shredded mozzarella works best as it melts better.
Also we love adding parmesan on the top to add another little kick as I love sprinkling parmesan on my pizza slices.
Of course you can try any cheese that you like, but I always suggest mozzarella.
CAN I DOUBLE THIS RECIPE?
Absolutely! There have been many times that we have doubled this recipe for football games, March Madness, etc.
You will just want to bake on two different baking sheets, do not try to fit it all on one, it will become a mess.
HOW TO STORE:
These are best served fresh; however, you can store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
I do not recommend freezing these Pizza Fries.
To reheat, return leftovers to a baking sheet, and bake at 375 degrees F for 11-12 minutes or until heated through.
