WHY DO YOU SOAK THE POTATOES?
Soaking the washed, peeled and cut potatoes helps remove the starch from the potatoes themselves. This is used to achieve the crispness that you want when making French Fries.
If you don’t do the soaking process you run the risk of a limp and soggy fry, and we all don’t want a limp soggy french fry.
HOW DO YOU CRISP FRIES IN THE OVEN?
Besides doing the soaking method what we like to do to ensure that we have crisp Baked French Fries is that we turn the oven up halfway through the cooking time.
This helps them cook slower at first then at a warmer degree for the last cooking portion which helps give them that nice crisp outer coating!

HOW TO STORE:
Stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator these French Fries will last up to 3-4 days. The best way to reheat them is to heat your oven on the lowest setting and place them in there until warmed through.
Leaving them in the oven for too long after they are completely cooked can make them dry out and become hard.
