Lime juice
Orange curacao

HOW TO MAKE A MAI TAI, STEP BY STEP:
- Grab your cocktail shaker, fill it with ice, and pour the white rum, lime juice, orange curacao, and orgeat syrup. Shake robustly.
- Pour your drink into your glass filled with ice.
- Add your dark rum floater on top, and poured slowly.
- Add garnishes of your choice, such as maraschino cherries, limes, pineapple, and mint.
WHAT ORANGE LIQUEUR IS BEST FOR MAI TAI’S?
A traditional Mai Tai Recipe made using orange curacao. Orange curacao can sometimes be difficult to find, so many variations of Mai Tais have been made using Grand Mariner or triple sec.
We think this traditional version is the best way to make it when possible.
CAN YOU MAKE MAI TAI’S FOR A CROWD?
You can definitely make these Mai Tai’s for a crowd, and it’s super easy. All you have to do is add chilled white rum, lime juice, orange curacao, and orgeat syrup to a large pitcher or punch bowl in the quantity that you want.
