- Blackberries
- Raspberries
- A combination of different ones
You can try it with other fruit, I’m used to doing it with berries, so I do not know what the outcome would be.
IS THIS SWEET?
This is sweet, but not overly sweet. You can cut back on the simple syrup and use about half.
Or you can just used a flavored soda water to give it some more sweetness/flavoring.
WHAT IS MUDDLING?
This is a technique where you are mashing fruit and other things, mainly used for a cocktail.
It helps release the flavors of the things that you are muddling into the cocktail itself.
CAN THIS BE MADE AHEAD OF TIME?
This would be a terrific make ahead cocktail. Muddle your fruit and mint in the bottom of a large pitcher.
Add vodka, simple syrup, and lime juice, stir and keep in the fridge until your party starts.
Add ice to your glass and pour in your cocktail mix about ยพ full. Top with soda water and garnishes.
HOW TO STORE:
I do not recommend storing this recipe as it is best when it is first made.

- You can use other fruits, see above on ideas.
- Easily double or triple this recipe.
- To make it less sweet use half the simple syrup.
- Fresh lime juice is best to use, only use bottled in a pinch.
