WHAT TEMP SHOULD I COOK PORK TENDERLOIN?
If you want a medium rare which is just a little pink in the middle (which is totally safe to eat) then you will want to take your pork off the heat at 145 degrees F at the thickest point.
If you are looking for a more medium to well done then you can cook it until the internal temperature reaches about 160 degrees F.
We cook ours to 145 degrees because it yields a more juicy and tender piece of meat, which can sometimes be hard when it comes to pork.
One of the reasons that we choose to cook pork tenderloins is because there are usually 2 in each packages. While you can get them flavored, we like to create our own marinades.
This marinade would also go good on a pork roast as well if you are wanting to go that route. But usually they are shredded and used in sandwiches whereas these are serves in slices.
