If you love going to your local coffee shop but don’t want to pay the prices anymore, you can make this delicious Copycat Starbucks Pink Drink at home with minimal ingredients.
Ok I have to admit I’m a Starbucks snob. I love getting coffee from there or seasonal drinks because sometimes I just don’t want the same old coffee I get at home.
One of mine and my kids favorites drinks is the Pink Drink! It is so refreshing and flavorful that I could drink it all day long and not complain.
So that and their Iced Caramel Macchiato are the two main drinks that we get when we do go out and go into town, we always make a stop there.
Well whats better is that you can make it at home with easy to find and minimal ingredients and it probably will take you less time to make then waiting in line at Starbucks.
That is the worst part is that our Starbucks is always packed and we go through the drive through and we are there forever it seems, so I decided to take it upon myself to recreate this Pink Drink.
No more $6 drinks for us, because this homemade Pink Drink taste just like the original and it is so easy to whip up which is my favorite part.
Some of my other favorite drinks we have on our site include Horchata, Homemade Sweet Tea and Cherry Limeade!
WHY THIS RECIPE WORKS:
- With minimal ingredients and time, this comes together quickly.
- You can double this recipe to make more drinks.
- You can change up the fruit to give it a slightly different flavor.
INGREDIENTS NEEDED (FULL RECIPE BELOW):
strawberries
instant very berry hibiscus refresher
water
white grape juice
sweetened vanilla coconut milk
ice
See how minimal those ingredients are? You can easily find the Starbucks refreshers at Starbucks, Amazon or Target.
Trust me if you’ve never had a Starbucks Pink Drink you are absolutely missing out on all the goodness that comes with this easy drink recipe.
It is literally to die for, it has the perfect flavor a punch of berry and then some sweetness from the milk as well. It’s just insane and one of the best drinks I believe they have.
HOW TO MAKE A PINK DRINK, STEP BY STEP:
- In a pitcher, add the strawberries. Gently crush the strawberries by using a muddler.
- Add the very berry hibiscus refresher to the pitcher.
- Pour the cold water in the pitcher and stir to combine until the refresher has dissolved.
- Add the grape juice and coconut milk, stir to combine.
- Pour and serve over ice. Add additional strawberry slices for garnish, optional.
Seriously how much easier can it get than that? Now this recipe itself makes 2 large glasses, but like I said you can easily double this recipe to make more.
We often do that because we can’t stop at just one glass, we are kind of addicted over here so we keep ourselves stocked on the ingredients needed for this.
It is the perfect spring or summer drink but when we do go to Starbucks we get it all year long, I mean there is no shame and I’m happy they don’t have it as a seasonal drink.
But since we make it at home now rather than spending our money there we can have it whenever we want so it’s Pink Drink all the time and I’m ok with that.
I also love that its a good drink for kids as well and not a coffee one so they are not getting overloaded with caffeine which is nice.
HOW TO STORE:
This Pink Drink is best when it is first made, you can leave in the pitcher for up to 24 hours but the strawberries will likely start to break down and get mushy.
So my suggestion is that you drink this when you are wanting it, it only takes 5 minutes to make so that shouldn’t be an issue.
TIPS AND TRICKS:
- Don’t smash your strawberries too much, we still want them plenty whole.
- You can get the refreshers on Amazon or at Starbucks or Target.
- We used the sweetened vanilla coconut milk so it’s dairy free and gives a touch of sweetness to the drink.
- Grape juice is used to also add sweetness to this.
- This is a slightly sweet but not overpowering sweet drink.
- Easily double the recipe to make a larger batch to serve more people.

This looks amazingly delicious, I can’t wait for my kiddos to try it. Every time I go to Starbucks they want to order something and we all know Starbucks is not cheap. We will definitely be trying this and I will update my review after making it. Thank you for the recipe!
