- Stir in the flour and baking soda.
- Fold in the white chocolate chips, Oreos and chips ahoy cookies until just combined.
- Use a 1 ½ Tablespoon cookie scoop to scoop the cookies onto the prepared baking sheet, placing them about 1 inch apart.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the edges of the cookies are just set.
- Remove from the oven and allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire cooling rack to cool completely.
CAN I FREEZE THE COOKIE DOUGH?
Yes, if you want to have these on hand and made but to bake later you can freeze the dough itself.
To freeze the dough, scoop it onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze for 30 minutes – 1 hour. Transfer to a freezer bag and freeze for 6 months.
When you are ready to bake, lower the oven temperature to about 20 degrees F lower and bake for about 3-5 minutes longer.
DO I NEED TO CHILL THE DOUGH BEFORE BAKING?
With this recipe, no you do not need to chill the dough before baking. They have enough structure in the dough to keep their shape while baking without spreading.
WHAT IS THE BEST FOOD COLORING TO USE?
To get that bright vibrant blue color you are wanting to use a gel food coloring.
We use Royal Blue in this recipe, but gel food coloring is more potent when it comes to color than liquid.
So a little of the gel goes a long ways.
WHY DO YOU TOP WITH MORE INGREDIENTS?
This is more for the presentation than anything, but it also adds more flavor to the cookies.
We love to do this with all our cookies, usually pressing in more chocolate chips and extra cookies.
If you do not care about the presentation, you can skip this step.
HOW TO STORE:
These can be stored in an airtight container on the countertop where they will keep for up to 1 week or in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
These can also be frozen, place in a freezer container or bag and they will keep in the freezer for up to 6 months.
To defrost, remove to the countertop until thawed.

- These cookies do not require any chilling.
- You can freeze the cookie dough beforehand, see above on how to to do that.
