How simple is this Strawberry Lemonade Recipe? It really can’t get much more simple than this, you can see now why we make this all the time!
CAN I USE FROZEN STRAWBERRIES?
I do not recommend using frozen strawberries for this recipe as it will change the texture when it is blended. If you only have frozen strawberries I would recommend thawing them and draining them.
CAN I USE BOTTLED LEMON JUICE?
Fresh squeezed lemon juice is best for this Strawberry Lemonade, with bottled you will not get that same fresh flavor as you will from fresh lemons.
In a pinch if it is all you have you can use it, it might be a little more tart and change the flavor some, so be careful and adjust for taste by adding more or less simple syrup.
CAN I SPIKE THIS RECIPE?
You absolutely can, if you want to add a little kick and booze to make yourself a cocktail you can add about 1 to 1 1/2 cups vodka per pitcher.
You will want to add more or less to your liking and how alcoholic that you want it. You can also spike with other liquors such as rum if you’d like as well.
Just taste while you add and adjust as you go to see what your flavor profile likes best.
DO I HAVE TO STRAIN MY STRAWBERRIES?
We like to strain the strawberries to remove any seeds or skin remnants leftover after pureeing but this is not necessary, you can absolutely add just the straight pureed mixture into your Strawberry Lemonade if you like the texture.
HOW TO STORE:
This Strawberry Lemonade Recipe can be stored covered in the refrigerator for up to 5-7 days.
