CAN I USE FROZEN MEATBALLS?
If you would rather not make your own homemade meatballs, then yes you can use frozen meatballs as well.
They do have frozen chicken meatballs at most grocery stores, but turkey meatballs will also work well.
Cook the same time, but put the meatballs in the slow cooker while they are still frozen.
CAN I MAKE THESE AHEAD OF TIME?
If you are planning on going somewhere or want these to be ready a little ahead of when you need to use them you can make them ahead of time.
These can be kept on the warm setting for up to 2 hours, so that is the max time I would make these ahead of time for parties or travel.
WHAT IS THE BEST SAUCE TO USE?
This is a personal preference on what you like to use, we used Franks Red Hot Wing Sauce (buffalo). Some other options that you can use include:
- Buffalo Wild Wings Sauce
- Sweet Baby Ray’s Buffalo Wing Wing Sauce
- Kinder’s Buttery Buffalo
- Louisiana Wing Sauce
- Texas Pete Buffalo Wing Sauce
WHAT DIPPING SAUCE SHOULD I SERVE WITH THESE BUFFALO CHICKEN MEATBALLS?
Just like anything buffalo chicken flavored, I would tend to recommend either ranch or bleu cheese.
Obviously this is a personal choice and you can absolutely use any of your favorite dipping sauces or none at all.
HOW TO STORE:
These can be stored in airtight container in the refrigerator where they will keep for up to 4-5 days.
You can also freeze these, place in a freezer container with sauce and they will keep for up to 3 months.
