4 ingredients and 10 minutes is all it takes to make these super easy and flavorful Pineapple Margaritas! A delicious drink to quench that summer thirst.
Margaritas are a staple recipe that everyone should know how to make. For one, they are super simple to whip up, and that pretty much is one of the most important things when it comes to recipes.
These are super flavorful and frozen. We are more of the frozen margarita type around here, but if you like more fresh then I recommend you use fresh fruit instead of frozen.
WHY THIS RECIPE WORKS:
- There are only 4 ingredients needed for this recipe, which keeps it super minimalistic.
- The flavors together are amazing, they work well and whip up fast.
- You can make this recipe virgin or alcoholic depending on what your preference is.
- It can be frozen and saved for later drinking
Now if that isn’t a nice list on why you need to make these Pineapple Margaritas then I don’t know what is. It is seriously such a flavorful and easy recipe, you won’t be turning back.
We love drinks of any kind around here, it’s one thing that we whip up a lot throughout the year because they are super refreshing or comforting and easy.
HOW TO MAKE PINEAPPLE MARGARITAS, STEP BY STEP:
In blender add your frozen pineapple, orange juice, lime juice and sugar. (Photos 1-4). If you are making this alcoholic you would substitute out the orange juice and add in your tequila, triple sec and lime juice instead. Then blend it all together until smooth.
Next, line the rim of your glasses with lime juice until its nice and coated then dip and rotate your glaze in some large flaked salt (Photos 5 &6). Spoon/pour in your Pineapple Margaritas and serve.
See how easy that recipe is? And it’s super adaptable as well. If you want to keep it virgin so the kids can enjoy, then awesome, but I like to give you both options in case you want a little afternoon cocktail.
This margarita recipe makes 2 standard glasses like the ones show in the photos, about 3-4 cups worth of mixture. So you can easily double or triple this depending on how many people you are looking to serve.
Pineapple Margaritas are just one of the many ways that you can cool down during the summer, some of my other favorite summer drink recipes include Mai Tai’s, Strawberry Daiquiri’s and this Peach and Blackberry Vodka Cocktail.
TIPS AND TRICKS:
- You can make this recipe with or without alcohol, both directions are included.
- If you want a less frozen version of this recipe use fresh fruit or let your pineapple thaw slightly before blending.
- I recommend using a good blender to make this as it will be easier, but you can also use a food processor in a pinch, we have before and it also works just takes a little more time.
- We like to line our glasses with large flaked salt, we use THIS brand. You can also like with sugar, sea salt, or regular salt if you would like.
- You can switch up this recipe with multiple different fruits like strawberries, mango, etc.
- This recipe freezes really well so you are able to enjoy for later drinking!
If you are looking for a delicious recipe to cool yourself down with on a hot summer day, these Pineapple Margaritas are fun, fast and flavorful.
