INGREDIENTS NEEDED (FULL RECIPE BELOW):

Pepperoni
Pizza seasoning
HOW TO MAKE MINI AIR FRYER PIZZA, STEP BY STEP:
- Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F.
- Spray the air fryer basket with olive oil spray or brush with vegetable oil.
- Prepare a clean prep surface and lightly sprinkle with flour.
- Separate each of the biscuits into two pieces then roll out gently with a rolling pin.
- Add 1 teaspoon of pizza sauce to each biscuit then top with cheese, pepperoni, and pizza seasoning.
- Place the pizzas in the air fryer.
- Cook for 4 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted. Repeat until all of the pizzas have been cooked.
WHAT KIND OF BISCUITS SHOULD I USE?
We use Grands Flaky Biscuits because you are going to need to separate the biscuits into two, and the flaky versions allow this. If you want to use something similar then I would say get mini biscuits.
That way you won’t have to separate into two, and are able to roll those out to about the same size that these pizzas are.
WHAT OTHER TOPPINGS CAN I USE?
We have made these with a variety of toppings, my personal favorite is supreme, but pepperoni, sausage, veggie, cheese, the world is your oyster for these Air Fryer Pizzas!
You can use pretty much what you have on hand, it should not affect the cooking time any by adding any ingredients.
Also we use small pepperoni for this recipe, but you can also quarter whole pepperoni and use that as well if you cannot find the minis.
WHAT IS PIZZA SEASONING?
Pizza seasoning is a blend of herbs such as oregano, basil, garlic powder, fennel, dried minced onion, red pepper flakes, etc. Different ones come with different seasonings.
You can buy a premade mix in stores, we like to use King Arthur Flour Pizza Seasoning which we get off of Amazon.
If you do not want to use pizza seasoning, then just use a mixture of the seasonings listed above, or plain Italian seasoning will work as well.
HOW LARGE SHOULD I ROLL OUT MY BISCUITS?
You’ll roughy want to roll these out into about 4″ rounds. You can make them larger or smaller, but the cooking time might change the outcome.
You can use a rolling pin or just use your hands to flatten the biscuits.
HOW TO STORE:
These can be stored in an airtight container or bag in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
We do not recommend freezing these.
To reheat, place in your air fryer for 1-2 minutes at 400 degrees F. You can also reheat these in the microwave until heated through.
TIPS AND TRICKS:
- We use a Corosi air fryer which fits 4 of these pizzas, other air fryers may fit less so make sure you check and do not overcrowd the basket.
- Make sure you use olive oil in your air fryer basket, non-stick spray will gunk it up.
- You’ll want to use the Grands Flaky Biscuits for this recipe as we separate them.
- I highly recommend the use of flour when rolling your biscuits, they do tend to stick to the surface.
- You can easily double this recipe to make more.
- If you want you can make your own homemade pizza sauce for this recipe.
- Switch up your toppings, we use pepperoni for these, see above for other ideas.
- We use mini pepperoni for this recipe but you can use large ones and cut them into quarters.
Want a fun, easy and customizable recipe that is great for the whole family? Then you will have to whip up a batch of this Mini Air Fryer Pizza great for snacking or a tasty meal.
