HOW TO MAKE A MARGHERITA FLATBREAD PIZZA, STEP BY STEP:

- Place the naan on the baking sheet.
- Coat the naan with the garlic and olive oil.
- Top the naan with the mozzarella and tomato slices.

- Remove from the oven and top with the balsamic glaze, salt, black pepper, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, and basil.
WHAT IS THE BEST FLATBREAD TO USE?
We use Naan flatbread for this pizza. It is the right size and thickness that we love.
You can use other flatbreads, but just know that you may need to use more ingredients on each one.
CAN I MAKE MY OWN BALSAMIC GLAZE?
Yes, if you cannot find a glaze in your local grocery store you can make your own using 1 cup of balsamic vinegar and 1 tablespoon of honey.
Add both to a pot and mix over medium heat for 12 minutes. Remove from the heat and transfer to a dish. It will thicken up as it cools.
WHAT OTHER FLAVORS CAN I MAKE?
The best part about making Flatbread Pizza is that you can really switch up the flavors to what you like. Some of my favorites include:
- Pepperoni (pizza sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, italian seasoning)
- Sausage (same as above but with sausage)
- BBQ Chicken (BBQ sauce, cooked chicken, red onions)
- Supreme (pizza sauce, pepperoni, sausage, olives, mushrooms onions)
- Chicken Alfredo (alfredo sauce, chicken pieces, onions)
You can really make any kind that you want, just get creative and try things and see what you like best.
DO I HAVE TO USE THE BALSAMIC GLAZE?
No, if you are not a fan of balsamic you can absolutely leave it off. Not all Margherita Pizza uses it, but I highly recommend it for the flavor.
It is really tasty without it as well, so leave off if you are not a fan!
HOW TO STORE:
This can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator where it will keep for up to 3 days.
To reheat, place in the air fryer at 350 degrees F for about 7 minutes.
TIPS AND TRICKS:
- This can be easily doubled or tripled or even more!
- Use your favorite flatbread, we use large naan for this.
- Switch up your toppings and make so many different types of Flatbread Pizza, see above for some ideas.
- These are done in 15 minutes!
- If you do not like balsamic, you can leave it off.
