- Cook 3-4 minutes then flip and cook an additional 3 minutes or until golden brown and cheddar is melting. Repeat with any remaining slices of bread.

WHAT IS THE BEST TYPE OF BREAD TO USE?
Since this is a heavier sandwich you will want to use a thicker slice of bread. We like to use Texas Toast for this recipe.
Other breads that will work include: brioche, french, artisan bread (Sara Lee), sourdough, country style, etc.
Use what you have on hand, if regular sliced bread is all you have you can use it – just be gentle.
CAN I USE ANOTHER MEAT?
Yes, while we love BBQ Pulled Pork for this sandwich you can also use shredded bbq chicken or even shredded turkey breast.
You can make these on your own or even purchase them at your local grocer, like I said we love using Lloyds Pulled Pork as it makes it SUPER easy to just throw a sandwich together.
Shredded chicken is also sold at the grocery store so you can use that and then add your favorite BBQ sauce.
WHAT OTHER CHEESE CAN I USE?
This is an absolute personal preference, we prefer sliced cheddar cheese as we love the flavors together.
Other cheeses that I think would taste good (you will want to use sliced) include: pepper jack, monterey jack, colby jack, gouda, white cheddar, etc.
Play around with flavors if you want and see what you like best, or use two different cheeses!
