Margherita Flatbread Pizza

Ingredients

  • 1 large naan flatbread
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4- ounce mozzarella ball sliced
  • 1 Roma tomato sliced
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze
  • teaspoon coarse kosher salt
  • teaspoon black pepper
  • teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 8 basil leaves

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Line a 9x13-inch baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Place the naan on the baking sheet.
  • Coat the naan with the garlic and olive oil.
  • Top the naan with the mozzarella and tomato slices.
  • Place in the oven and bake for 7-10 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and top with the balsamic glaze, salt, black pepper, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, and basil.

Notes

  1. This can be easily doubled or tripled or even more!
  2. Use your favorite flatbread, we use large naan for this.
  3. Switch up your toppings and make so many different types of Flatbread Pizza, see above for some ideas.
  4. These are done in 15 minutes!
  5. If you do not like balsamic, you can leave it off.
