I’m all about the easy recipes these days if you haven’t noticed. We have been so busy around these parts with our 4 kids and cooking and taking care of our 2 cats and new puppy that things get crazy around here.
Wanna know something else thats gets super crazy? That would be my sweet tooth! I have one of the biggest sweet tooths around and I am not going to even try to hide that.
You can tell that I probably have more desserts recipes on my site than anything else. Oh and don’t even get me started on my dessert cookbook that comes out in one short month! Which you should totally go pre-order by the way.
These Homemade Skor Bars are absolutely amazing. They have the perfect mixture of salty and sweet and that combination is one of my favorite dessert combos of all time.
These bars we have been whipping up for years, always ones that we take to gatherings because everyone loves them and the ingredients are so minimal. I mean how can you go wrong with only having to use 4 ingredients!

If you’ve never heard of a Skor candy bar it is actually a candy bar that is butter toffee that is covered in milk chocolate. Pretty much the same as heath bars.

These are so easy and fast to make that you can make them anytime you crave a sweet treat, which is too bad for me because I want them all the time!
But if you can resist eating all of them, they are perfect for a potluck or to keep in the freezer to serve unexpected guests.

I recommend using a 9 x 13 pan and also adding a bit of butter to the crust. Honestly, I didnβt like them even a little. Waste of money.

I can’t find 11.3 oz box of Ritz Crackers. How many sleeves are 11.3 oz? or can I just weigh that amount of crackers on a food scale? HELP!
Tornadough Alli
You can just weigh it.
Cynthia
Use the 11.9 or less. Itβll work. Donβt waste your time, theyβre crappy. Go for the toffee bars actual recipe and use Hershey bars to frost. If you do make these Skor bars, use a 9 x13 pan as the 8 or 9 inch is too small.
