WHAT IF I DON’T HAVE A PIZZA STONE?
If you donโt have a pizza stone, do the same process on the back of a cookie sheet.
WHAT KINDA OF PIZZA DOUGH IS THE BEST?
You will want raw pizza dough for this recipe, which can be refrigerated or ones that are store bought in the balls.
If you buy pizza dough at the store, a lot of times they will come in bags of 1 pound. Cut this dough in half and use ยฝ to make this recipe or double this recipe to make 2 pizzas.
You can also make your own homemade pizza dough.
CAN I USE ROTISSERIE CHICKEN?
Yes! Rotisserie chicken works great for this recipe, or any leftover chicken that you have.
If we don’t have either, we usually just back up some chicken or boil it and shred it for the recipe.
WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO ROLL OUT THE PIZZA DOUGH?
Pizza dough rolls out best if itโs room temperature. Make sure to set it out an hour before starting this recipe for best results.
If your pizza dough keeps wanting to shrink back into itself while rolling, cover and let it rest an additional 5 minutes and try again.
Also, you can skip the olive oil and corn meal if you want to but they help give the crust an extra crunch on the bottom.
HOW TO STORE:
This can be stored wrapped in plastic wrap or foil in an airtight container in the refrigerator where it will keep for up to 3-4 day.
To reheat place in the oven or air fryer at 330 degrees F for about 4-5 minutes, this helps the crust not get soggy when reheating.
We do not recommend freezing this recipe.
