These Banana Caramel Macchiato Donuts are baked up golden with a delicious banana caramel flavor and drizzled with a caramel macchiato glaze.
Sometimes mornings are tough for me. Being the Summer and actually having the opportunity to sleep in has been nice. Once school hits though, it’s completely going to railroad my schedule. Not to say I’m not a morning person, but I just need a little extra oomph to get me going some days.
Well those day’s call for a big glass of coffee. Now I may not always have the ambition to make it myself and I don’t always like to run out to the local coffee shop to get my fix, plus I love to get all the savings I can. I mean who doesn’t just want a huge cup waiting for you the moment you are awake. I know I do. Setting a timer just doesn’t cut it for me because who knows when I’ll actually get around to drinking it. GRRRR. The struggle is real.
So I was perusing around the aisles of Walmart like I’m known to do and lo and behold I found these new International Delight Iced Coffee Caramel Macchiato and Mocha, coffeehouse flavor without the coffeehouse hassle! Seriously….score! You can find these bad boys in the refrigerated tea/juice section. Ours was in the first refrigerated door we saw, I just stopped and jaw instantly dropped.
I knew right away that I needed to load up on that stuff. Besides being refreshing to serve in a glass over ice I’m able to incorporate it into recipes. Hello you beautiful Banana Caramel Macchiato Donuts. What another great item to add to my morning routine.
These donuts are off the hook. If you love banana and caramel, then you’ll adore these. With a little of the International Delight Caramel Macchiato Iced Coffee mixed right into the batter you have a subtle banana and caramel flavor. Top it all off with a Caramel Macchiato glaze and you have yourself a seriously flavorful donut.
Ok enough about the flavor train of these bites of heaven. Lets talk about how easy these puppies are! How about ready in 20 minutes? Oh yes! These are baked and not fried so no waiting for any hot oil to heat up and you can easily double this recipe to make a bigger batch (which I highly recommend)!
These International Delight Iced Coffee flavors have now been gracing and being up front and center in my fridge. They are a delicious drink that can be enjoyed all year round, especially in these warm months when all you really want to do is cool down!
Well they will certainly do that for you. They will also light up your taste buds and put a big bright smile on your face…well they do to me anyways. So ice – check, glass – check, enjoy!

I agree! These were so great! Thanks Carolyn ๐
Pam
They sound amazing! Do you think they would work as muffins? I don’t have a donut pan.
Tornadough Alli
Hi Pam! Thank you so much. I think they would work well as muffins, just bake them a little longer since they would have more batter to them!
