WHAT ELSE CAN I ADD TO THIS RECIPE?
This ramen recipe would be a great base to work off of. Other ideas to add are ยฝ pound ground beef, pork, chicken, or turkey to make a more filling meal.
If adding ground meats, I suggest doubling the sauce ingredients to keep the recipe correct. First, brown the ground meat with the butter, then add the garlic and cook until fragrant, then continue with the additional steps.
WHAT OTHER SPICES WOULD WORK?
Other yummy spices to add to your TikTok Ramen: smoked paprika, sichuan peppercorns, chinese five spice, fresh grated ginger (add this with the garlic to the pan), or curry.
CAN I ADD OTHER TOPPINGS?
Absolutely, some other toppings that would be good to add include: crushed peanuts, cilantro, a squeeze of lime, bean sprouts, matchstick carrots, cabbage, and more.
HOW TO STORE:
When storing this ramen noodle recipe for later, transfer your noodles and just a little liquid in one container and store any other solids you may have added to a separate container. You can keep these in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
I don’t suggest freezing this recipe. Reheat it in the microwave or in a skillet until warmed through.
If your ramen noodles are clumping together, add a bit of chicken stock or water to help loosen them back up.
