Looking for that tasty appetizer that you’ll make over and over, then you have to make these Garlic Parmesan Wings. Easy, tasty and finger licking good!
We are a huge wing family over here, but we are split between boneless and bone-in. But we usually end up going with bone-in.
These Garlic Parmesan Wings are one of the most requested wing recipes in our house. It is one of our favorite appetizers for game days, parties, holidays and more.
These wings are literally drenched in sauce that you will absolutely not be able to get enough of.
While this recipe makes a decent amount of Garlic Parmesan Wings, you almost cannot help but making a double batch.
When I say that they are that good, they are that good. My picky kids absolutely love these and that is saying something.
If you are looking for that perfect wing recipe, you will never go wrong when making these Garlic Parmesan Wings.
Some of our other favorite appetizers that we have on our site include: Buffalo Shrimp, Sweet & Spicy Slow Cooker Meatballs and Bloomin’ Onion Petals.

- Common ingredients help these come together in no time.
- Easily double this recipe (you will want to).
- These are super saucy so they are filled with flavor.
INGREDIENTS NEEDED (FULL RECIPE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE POST):
Chicken wings & drummies
Baking powder
Salt
Pepper
Salted butter
Garlic
Heavy whipping cream
Parmesan cheese
Fresh parsley
HOW TO MAKE GARLIC PARMESAN WINGS, STEP BY STEP:
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
- Add baking powder, salt, pepper, and wings to a mixing bowl and toss to coat.
- Prepare a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
- Arrange wings in a single layer on baking sheet.
- Bake for 35 minutes or until crispy and cooked through, flipping halfway through cook time.
- Prepare sauce while wings are baking: Add butter to a medium saucepan and melt over low-medium heat.
- Add in garlic and heat over medium heat for about a minute.
- Whisk in cream until smooth, heat over medium heat for another 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and mix in parmesan until melted, then mix in parsley.
- Add wings to a mixing bowl, pour sauce over baked wings, then toss to coat.
- Top with a sprinkle of shredded parmesan cheese and chopped parsley if desired and serve.
DO I NEED TO ADD THE BAKING POWDER?
This step can be skipped, but we like to add it as it makes the wings more crispy and helps the sauce adhere more.
But if you do not want to add it you can absolutely skip it.
CAN I JUST USE CHICKEN WINGS OR DRUMMIES?
If you want to just use one or the other you can. We like the combination of both.
There are people in our family who prefer one or the other so we always include both in our chicken wing recipes.
DO I HAVE TO COAT IN THE SAUCE?
While that is the purpose of the recipe is to drench the chicken wings in the sauce, you can skip that.
You can instead use the sauce as a dip and that way you can add as little or as much sauce to each wing as you’d like.
CAN THESE BE MADE IN THE AIR FRYER?
Yes! You will want to spray the wings with non-stick cooking spray before placing in the air fryer.
Heat at 400 for about 15-17 minutes, turning half way between the cooking time.
These will need to be cooked in batches as you do not want to have 2 pounds of wings in your air fryer and you want them placed in a single layer.
HOW TO STORE:
Although these are best served fresh, you can store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
To reheat, place on a foil-line sheet pan and bake in a 375 F preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes.
TIPS AND TRICKS:
- We like to use a mixture of wings and drummies but you can use one or the other.
- Easily double this recipe.
- These can be made in the air fryer, see above on how to do that.
- Instead of coating the wings in the sauce, you can dip the wings in it instead if desired.
- I highly recommend the baking powder, these help the wings get crispy on the outside.
- We do not recommend freezing this recipe.
- Serve with any of your other favorite appetizers.
