Garlic Parmesan Wings

Ingredients

  • 2- pound package chicken wings & drummies
  • 1 Tablespoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • ½ cup salted butter
  • 3 Tablespoon garlic minced
  • ½ cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2/3 cup Parmesan cheese finely shredded + more for topping
  • 2 Tablespoons fresh parsley chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
  • Add baking powder, salt, pepper, and wings to a mixing bowl and toss to coat.
  • Prepare a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  • Arrange wings in a single layer on baking sheet.
  • Bake for 35 minutes or until crispy and cooked through, flipping halfway through cook time.
  • Prepare sauce while wings are baking: Add butter to a medium saucepan and melt over low-medium heat.
  • Add in garlic and heat over medium heat for about a minute.
  • Whisk in cream until smooth, heat over medium heat for another 2 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and mix in parmesan until melted, then mix in parsley.
  • Add wings to a mixing bowl, pour sauce over baked wings, then toss to coat.
  • Top with a sprinkle of shredded parmesan cheese and chopped parsley if desired and serve.

Notes

  1. We like to use a mixture of wings and drummies but you can use one or the other.
  2. Easily double this recipe.
  3. These can be made in the air fryer, see above on how to do that.
  4. Instead of coating the wings in the sauce, you can dip the wings in it instead if desired.
  5. I highly recommend the baking powder, these help the wings get crispy on the outside.
  6. We do not recommend freezing this recipe.
  7. Serve with any of your other favorite appetizers.
