A quick and easy holiday appetizer, this Cranberry Brie Flatbread has only 7 ingredients and is done in 20 minutes! The perfect snack for when you’re in a hurry!
I am obsessed with anything that is appetizer related. This Cranberry Brie Flatbread is one recipe that every holiday season that we make over and over again.
Now that the holidays are coming up I wanted to share with you one of my go-to quick and easy appetizer recipes that we just can’t get enough of.
This Cranberry Brie Flatbread is super easy and quick to put together and is done in a flash. All the flavors from the cheese, the cranberries, pecans, rosemary and honey just work.
They really all go so well together that it is just a flavor explosion in your mouth and the best part about it is that it is hand held!
I really love cranberries in either baking or savory dishes, they go well in either so we love to use them in various ones. This is one of my favorite savory ones!
Cheese and cranberries alone are just amazing, but add all these other flavors to the mix and you have yourself an appetizer that you will want to make over and over again.

WHY THIS RECIPE WORKS:
- With the creamy cheese and burst cranberries everything melts in to one another.
- This can be doubled to serve more people.
- This holds together well with the flatbread slightly crisping up making it the perfect serving vessel!
INGREDIENTS NEEDED (FULL RECIPE AT BOTTOM):
Flatbread
Goat cheese
Brie
Pecans
Cranberries
Rosemary
Honey
HOW TO MAKE CRANBERRY BRIE FLATBREAD, STEP BY STEP:
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. and place flatbread on a small ungreased baking sheet.
- Spread goat cheese evenly over flatbread.
- Cut brie into small pieces and layer on top of goat cheese.
- Layer with pecans, cranberries, and rosemary.
- Drizzle evenly with honey.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until brie is starting to brown and cranberries soften and burst.
- Cut into strips and serve warm. Enjoy!
WHAT KIND OF CRANBERRIES SHOULD I USE?
You can use fresh or frozen cranberries with this recipe, we have have used both and they have both worked just fine.
CAN I USE OTHER NUTS?
If you are not a fan of pecans you can use walnuts or even almonds for this, they both taste great. Or you can omit the nuts altogether.
CAN THIS BE DOUBLED?
Absolutely, usually when you buy your flatbread it comes with two of them so it is easy to double this recipe and we usually do it when we are going to larger gatherings.
IS THERE ANOTHER CHEESE THAT WORKS WELL?
Yes, if you are not a fan of brie, you can use other cheeses for this recipe. Some that would taste well include:
- Mozzarella
- White Cheddar
- Aged Cheddar
- Fontina
- Gouda
Like I always say, use what you think would taste good with all the flavors.
HOW TO STORE:
This Flatbread Recipe can be stored in an airtight container or ziptop bag in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 days.
You can warm it back up in the microwave or you can place back in the oven at 350 degrees F for about 5 minutes until heated through.
I do not suggest freezing this Cranberry Brie Flatbread.
TIPS AND TRICKS:
- Fresh or frozen cranberries can be used for this.
- This is a great recipe to double if you are serving a larger crowd.
- If all the cranberries haven’t burst, keep it in for a few minutes longer.
- We like to use plain goat cheese, but you can use flavored if you want to add more depth to this.
- Pecans can be substituted with walnuts or almonds or you can leave this nut free.
- Other cheeses can be used, see above for some ideas.
- We do not recommend freezing this recipe.

- ¼ cup chopped pecans
