With minimal ingredients and time this easy Cinnamon Cream Cheese Frosting is the perfect frosting to use on cakes, cupcakes and more!
I am going to admit right off the bat that this Cinnamon Cream Cheese Frosting is one of my absolute favorite frostings ever. It is creamy with a little bit of spice.
I love the addition of the cinnamon to the regular Cream Cheese Frosting because it works with so many different cakes and desserts that we are it more often than not!
This recipe is super easy and requires on minimal pantry staple ingredients! Which is awesome, and it stores well so you are able to use it over time if you like.
Easy is the way I love to roll around here and you can’t get much easier than a frosting recipe! Especially one that is super versatile and you can choose to use it however you’d like!

WHY THIS RECIPE WORKS:

INGREDIENTS NEEDED (FULL RECIPE AT BOTTOM):
Cream cheese
Unsalted butter
Powdered sugar
Cinnamon
Vanilla extract
HOW TO MAKE CINNAMON CREAM CHEESE FROSTING, STEP BY STEP:
- In the body of a stand mixer with the paddle attachment add the cream cheese and butter.
- Cream together until smooth.
- .Add in the powdered sugar.
- Stir it in until combined. Scrape down the sides as needed.
- Add the vanilla and cinnamon, stir to combine.
- Turn up the speed to medium and whip for 3 minutes until light and fluffy.
Look at how easy this Cinnamon Cream Cheese Frosting is to make, there is absolutely no denying that at all! That is why we love it so much.

When you are a frosting lover it is not really to hard to figure out what to use it on or in. I could even just dunk graham crackers in this frosting.
HOW TO STORE:
This frosting recipe can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
This can also be frozen. To do this place in an airtight container and place in freezer where it will keep for up to 1 month.
To defrost, remove from freezer until it has softened enough too pipe or be spreadable to use on what you would like to use it for.
