With juicy meat and crispy veggies, these Steak Kabobs are the perfect grilling meal. With a marinade that you cannot get enough of!
Grilling season is upon us! This is one of my favorite times of year. We live in Minnesota so we don’t get the luxury to use our grill all year round (we could but don’t).
These Steak Kabobs are a huge hit in our house and at any party we throw. Kabobs are just an easy dish to throw together.
We love to grill so making these apart of our main dish is a no brainer, but we also love to use them as a side dish to larger things like burgers and brats, etc.
What really makes this recipe is the marinade, you will want to keep this marinade recipe on hand for all your steak needs.
Letting the steak marinate longer the better as it soaks up all that flavor and trust me you will want that.
If your wanting a fun, tasty and super enjoyable grilling recipe for the summer, then these Steak Kabobs need to be on your menu.

CAN OTHER INGREDIENTS BE ADDED TO THESE STEAK KABOBS?
Yes, you can absolutely switch up the ingredients to your liking if you want more than what is in this recipe or just something different.
Some of our favorites include: mushrooms, white onions, zucchini, squash, cherry tomatoes, etc.
CAN I USE ANOTHER CUT OF STEAK?
We really love using sirloin in Steak Kabob recipe but other cuts can be used if you prefer not to use them, some others include:
- New York Strip
- Tri-Tip
- Flat Iron
- Beef Tenderloin
These are the most tender pieces of meat that we have found that works best, but still suggest using the sirloin.
DO I HAVE TO USE WOODEN SKEWERS?
No, if you have reusable metal skewers you can use them. It will cut down on the time for soaking your wooden skewers.
You need to soak the skewers when using wooden ones because they will start on fire and we do not want that to happen.
WHAT CAN I SERVE WITH STEAK KABOBS?
If you are like me then you love the summer grilling sides! There are so many things that you can serve with these. Some of my favorites include:
- Homemade Baked Beans
- Creamy Cucumber Salad
- Macaroni Salad
- Coleslaw
- Honey Butter Grilled Corn
- Cajun Fries
- Pan Fried Potatoes and Onions
HOW TO STORE:
These can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator where they will keep for up to 3-4 days.
They can also be frozen, freeze before grilling. Assemble your kabobs and place in a freezer container where they will keep for up to 3 months.
To defrost, remove from the refrigerator until thawed and then grill per the directions.
To reheat refrigerated kabobs, you can throw them back on the grill until heated through or place covered in an oven heated to 350 degrees F until heated through.
