I love a good sweet dip, sometimes it gets old having all the savory dips around. And since it is the holiday season, I’m sharing all things sweet!
We make this Chocolate Cheesecake Dip a lot, it has long been one of our favorite. We are big chocolate lovers in this house so as you can imagine everyone knows about it.
This graces the dessert table at lots of parties and potlucks, although this is one dip that I like to make during the cooler months so it doesn’t melt.
With added chocolate fudge sauce on top, you really have yourself an indulgent dessert that you can serve with tons of your favorite dippers.
If you are a chocolate fan, I can’t stress enough how much you should try this recipe! I know some people aren’t chocolate on chocolate but this is soooo good!
I might be biased but, once you try it you might just fall in love with it like our friends and family have!

WHY THIS RECIPE WORKS:
- With minimal and easily available ingredients this is quick to mix up.
- You can add different types of mix-ins if you wish!
- You can halve this recipe to make a smaller batch.
INGREDIENTS NEEDED (FULL RECIPE AT BOTTOM):
Cream cheese
Sweetened condensed milk
Cocoa powder
Vanilla extract
Cool whip
Chocolate fudge sauce
Milk or semi-sweet chocolate (optional)
Dippers of choice
HOW TO MAKE CHOCOLATE CHEESECAKE DIP, STEP BY STEP:
- In a large mixing bowl, add the cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract.
- Beat with a mixer on medium speed for about 2 to 3 minutes, or until smooth.
- Fold in Cool Whip.
- Add mixture to a serving bowl.
- Top with chocolate sundae sauce. Sprinkle grated dark chocolate on top. Chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
WHAT ARE SOME MIX-INS I CAN ADD?
It really depends on what flavor you’re going for, you can add M&M’s, crushed candy canes, crushed Oreos, toffee, mini chocolate chips, chopped peanut butter cups and more.
WHAT CAN I USE TO DIP IN THIS?
This is a personal preference but some ideas include: Graham crackers, shortbread cookies, chocolate wafers, fresh fruit, pretzels, your favorite cookies, etc.

This can be stored covered or in an airtight container in the refrigerator where it will last for up to 3 days.
TIPS AND TRICKS:
- Make sure your cream cheese is at room temperature.
- You can add any mix-ins that you like!
- We put this in a 24 oz serving dish.
- This can be made up to a day ahead of time, stored in the refrigerator.
- The chocolate shavings are optional, but a fun twist.
