When it comes to this Chicken Fried Steak, this is where my heart lies. Now this recipe is really super easy to make, I know a lot of people who might turn there heads up at homemade hand breaded deep fried recipes, but don’t pass this one up.

The country gravy that goes over this steak is really what makes it over the top. Now I’m a gravy person, mainly a country gravy person, I’m not really big into that brown gravy stuff…sorry.
But take the steak, deep fry it and pour some gravy over the top and use some for dipping and you have yourself something so comforting and perfect that you won’t know what to do with yourself!
Some sides that go well with this include:
So this is a debatable question. Is this a breakfast or dinner food? I’ve seen it served on breakfast menus all over the place. Served alongside eggs and hashbrowns.
Is there a certain way you guys swing when it comes the appropriate time to enjoy this Chicken Fried Steak recipe? I would love to hear your onions about that and if you enjoy it both ways.
