So I’ve stated many a times that we are addicted to all things appetizers. We could make meals off of appetizers and we so often do just that. We love having multiple choices for things to eat, but smaller portions.
Now this Crescent Ring isn’t actually “small” but it sure is considered an appetizer and one that we cant get enough of that is for sure.
Now that football season officially started this recipe would be perfect for a game day meal to serve your friends that you have over for the game. Or just on a weeknight when you want something quick and easy to feed yourselves and kids.
This Buffalo Chicken Crescent Ring recipe has just a little bit of kick that is smoothed out by the other ingredients that doesn’t make this recipe overpowering one bit, so it’s even perfect for the little ones, our 5 year old loved this!
WHAT INGREDIENTS DO YOU NEED?

- Buffalo wing sauce
- Cream cheese
- Ranch mix packet
- Cheddar cheese
- Crescent rolls

This version is piled high with a buffalo chicken dip mixture that we love just normally baked, so we figured that we would stuff it all into a crescent roll ring and serve it up with a side or ranch or blue cheese for dipping.
Now I’m more of a ranch lover, never really have gotten into the blue cheese phase and not sure that I ever really will unfortunately, but if you love blue cheese then you will love dipping this ring in it!
HOW DO YOU MAKE THIS BUFFALO CHICKEN CRESCENT RING?
- Preheat oven to 375.
- Line a baking sheet or pizza pan with parchment paper, set aside.
- In bowl mix together shredded chicken and buffalo wing sauce until combined.
- In another bowl whisk together your softened cream cheese and ranch seasoning packet until smooth then add to your chicken mixture and stir together until coated.
- Add in your shredded cheese and fold together until blended.
- Unroll your crescent roll dough into 16 triangles and then overlap your wide ends of each triangle to form a circle and then gently press the bottoms together.
- Spread your mixture over the wide part of your crescent rolls and then fold the points over the top of filling tucking them under the wide portion.
- Bake in oven for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
- Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with some parsley if desired.
