CAN I USE ANOTHER MEAT IN THIS QUICHE?
Absolutely! I’m a huge bacon fan but we also love this with breakfast sausage, ham, chorizo, etc.
You can even mix some meats together to get a more meatier version of this Bisquick Quiche Recipe.
WHAT OTHER VEGETABLES CAN I USE?
The sky’s the limit on this recipe! You can really change up or load up this recipe with vegetables.
Some options that you can try include:
- Mushrooms
- Spinach
- Bell Peppers
- Broccoli
- Zucchini
I would saute the vegetables before putting the in with the quiche so they are cooked slightly beforehand and become tender when it is done.
WHAT OTHER CHEESE GOES GOOD IN QUICHE?
While a simple cheddar cheese is AMAZING in this Bisquick Quiche, you can use others.
Some of our favorites include: Colby Jack, White Cheddar, Monterey Jack, Gouda, Muenster, Pepper Jack, etc.
Whatever your favorite cheese is, and it melts well then use it. We just want you to use freshly shredded cheese as it melts better.
WHAT DOES THE BISQUICK DO IN THIS QUICHE?
The bisquick really give this sustenance. It is also known as “Impossible Quiche” as well.
The use of bisquick means that you do not need to use a pie crust, the bisquick is creating the crust by itself.
It also makes this recipe super fluffy as you have that baking mix addition that adds a little bread like texture, but is not heavy at all.
HOW TO STORE:
This can be stored covered with plastic wrap or in an airtight container in the refrigerator where it will keep for up to 3 days.
You can also freeze this recipe, to do that wrap the quiche in plastic wrap and then foil and it will keep in the freezer for up to 3 months.
To defrost, remove to the refrigerator until thawed. To reheat, place in the microwave until heated through.
TIPS AND TRICKS:
- This is a fun family recipe that whips up in no time and easily adaptable.
- You can switch up the vegetables, meat and cheese, see suggestions above.
- You DO NOT need a pie crust for this recipe – the bisquick acts as the crust.
- Make sure that you do grease the pie plate before baking.
- This can be frozen, see above on how to do that.
- Make sure that after you cook the bacon you discard all but 1 Tablespoon of the bacon grease.
- If you are going to use other vegetables, saute them before adding to the quiche mixture.

Bisquick pies are wonderful. However, disagree with the statement 8 large servings. At the most I would say 4 large servings, 6 regular servings or 8 small. One eighth of a pie for a meal isn’t much at all.
