If you want to change up the recipe, you can. Look for other flavors to add or try with your breakfast potatoes, you can really season these with anything, we like some spice with cayenne pepper, but use what you like best!
DO I HAVE TO USE BABY YUKON POTATOES?
While I love using baby Yukon Gold potatoes for this recipe as they are smaller and you can cut them quicker but you can certainly use other potatoes.
We have tried regular yukon potatoes as well as peeled russet potatoes for this recipe and they both turn out great.
HOW TO STORE:
Store your leftover crispy Air Fryer Breakfast Potatoes in the refrigerator in a container for up to 5 days. Reheat them by placing them back in the Air Fryer until they’re warmed through again.
Skip the microwave because they’ll just end up soggy instead of crispy.
Want to keep them longer? Once you’ve cooked them and they’ve cooled, toss them in a freezer-safe container and freeze for up to 3 months.
Defrost in the refrigerator overnight until thawed and then reheat as stated above.
TIPS AND TRICKS:
- You can use other potatoes than Baby Yukon’s, see my suggestions above.
