With busy fall schedules we sometimes struggle to find fun snacks that are easy and the kids will enjoy that doesn’t just come in the form of a bag of chips or a quick candy bar. Caramel Apple Waffle Skewers
Ingredients
- 4 Kellogg'sยฎ Eggoยฎ Mickey Mouse Homestyle Waffles toasted
- 2 apples sliced
Sauce:
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup light corn syrup
- 1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
Instructions
- In sauce pan melt your butter then add your brown sugar, corn syrup, sweetened condensed milk and stir until combined and bubbling slightly, do not boil.
- Remove from heat and stir in your vanilla, set aside.
- Layer your apples and waffles on skewers and dip into caramel sauce.
