Who doesn’t love the combination of chocolate and peanut butter together? These Butterfinger Bars are epic; they combine crushed Butterfinger Minis to help you really bring out the iconic and epic flavor combination that we have all grown to love.
When I tell you that I adore easy desserts, this one is super super simple. Literally, the kids can whip this upโboyfriend, the husband, the girlfriend or whomever. This recipe is fool-proof.
INGREDIENTS NEEDED:
- Crushed buttery crackers
- Crushed Butterfinger Minis
- Sweetened condensed milk
- Cocolate chips
Ok, you cant go wrong with that listโamiright? Yeah, I know that I’m right.
These Butterfinger Bars are one of those desserts that you want to bring everywhere with you and want to make over and over again. The sweet and salty flavor combination that these bring go above and beyond.
I love baking with my kids; I also like baking with my mom. My mom was the first person that ever taught me how to do anything in the kitchen.
After that day, you couldn’t get me out of it. Always coming up with weird and new flavor combinations or random things, my poor dad being the guy who had to “willingly” taste them all and tell me that they were all delicious.
The older I get, the more I know now that he was just being a good dadโtaking one for the team and telling his little girl that things were amazing to not crush her spirit. I appreciate him for that.
When it comes to baking, some people can get nervous or scaredโI get it. I hated baking for the longest time. WHAT?!?! Yes, there was a point and time in my life that I hated baking.
Things have changed over the years, and I honed my skills really well. Although I still shy away from some of those more elaborate desserts, I love to decorate myself a cake or two.
These Butterfinger Bars come together super nice; the Butterfinger Minis, which you can learn more about here, really help and they are super convenient when used in baking.
They are newly packaged to provide quality freshness; they have an enhanced peanut butter flavor and are crispy and crunchy without being dry! They pretty much melt in your mouth, making them one of our favorite go-to baking products.

Now, we like these Butterfinger Squares on the larger side because, well, they are addicting. So, this recipe technically makes 9. But if you are wanting to make smaller portions, you can absolutely cut these into smaller pieces and get 12.
However you eat these bars, you will become hooked upon first bite. The good thing with this recipe is that it can easily be doubled! So they are the perfect bring-along bar to any get-together.
My kids are huge Butterfinger fans, and they love when I am able to incorporate them into baking. Bars are one thing that we love the most around this house, and these are no exception.
TIPS AND TRICKS:
- You can use a food processor to break up your crackers and Butterfinger Minis, or just stick them in a large plastic bag and hit them with a rolling pin (this is our preferred method). They don’t need to be completely crushed; you can have larger bits.
- Use your favorite chocolate chips for the topping; we like semi-sweet but have also used milk chocolate and dark chocolate.
- Line your baking dish with parchment or tinfoil if you want easier removal.
- This recipe can easily be doubled for sharing convenience.
