Easy, fresh, fruity and delicious this Mango Salsa is a quick recipe to whip up. With sweetness and heat it is the perfect balance of flavors that you will love.
I love salsa. I grew up with my mom making her homemade salsa every year. Her salsa was the normal tomato and pepper salsa, which we always enjoyed.
As they years went buy I wanted to branch out on my salsa making, my cousin first brought this Mango Salsa to our house many years ago and from the first bite I was hooked.
So knowing me being the foodie, I had to get the recipe from her and the rest is history, we have been making this salsa as an appetizer every spring and summer for many years now.
I absolutely love me a good fruit salsa and mangos really do make the perfect fruit to put with some heat. The flavors balance out so well that you wan’t to keep on eating this.
Trust me once you make this recipe it will become one of those staple recipes that you are going to want to make over and over again and bring to gatherings.
I get asked to bring this a lot because people love different dips and not just your normal salsa all the time so this Mango Salsa is one of those recipes that we just bring and it’s always gone when we go home.
Some other dip style recipes that we like to bring include French Onion Dip, Charleston Cheese Dip and Spinach Dip Stuffed French Bread.

I’m just too obsessed with this recipe, honestly. It is too simple and that flavor, come on! I just love it! But I may be biased because I make it all the time.
But if you have never tried a fruit salsa before this is the one to try. Mango Salsa is amazing, all fruit salsas are amazing but I find mango is one of my favorites.
There is something about that fruit that really does it for me. But there are so many other fruit salsas that I enjoy some of them include:
Plus various other fruit salsa mixtures out there. You’d be surprised how crafty some people can get with it come to a good old salsa recipe.
I like my Mango Salsa, simple ingredients and a simple recipe. I like to keep it that way and not too overly complicated!
HOW TO STORE:
Mango Salsa is best eaten shortly after it it is made, after you have let it rest for the flavors to marry. But if you have leftovers you can store in an airtight container.
This should last up to two days, the mangos will lost their stiffness and become softer over this period of time so just know that tis normal and why we recommend eating right away.
TIPS AND TRICKS:
- Make sure your mango is nice and rips, this will make it easier to cut.
- You can switch you your color of peppers and onions.
- Choose your favorite hot pepper to add to this to give it as much eat as you’d like.
- You can absolutely double this recipe to serve more people.
