If you are looking for a quick and easy drink with a kick then you need to try this Fireball Hard Cider, apple, cinnamon and all around deliciousness.
So it’s that time of year for all things apple! Let me tell you the combination of the fireball, apple beer and cider in this Hard Cider recipe is the perfect combination.
We have always loved these flavors together, we love that it gives just the slightest kick from the fireball but it goes down super smooth and it’s hard to stop at just one.
This Hard Cider Recipe has been a staple in our house for a long time as we usually keep fireball around for various recipes and drink creations, so this gets made all year round.
It is one of the easiest drinks that you can whip up! It only has 3 ingredients that are easily available to find at your nearest grocery and liquor store, it is the perfect fall and winter drink.
This is also great to make as a batch and in a pitcher if you are going to be having larger gatherings too! We do that on occasion as people love when we make this as a single drink.
We are a fan of Angry Orchard Hard Cider around here so that is what we went with, but if you have another favorite you can absolutely substitute that instead.
Some of our other favorite drinks that we have on our site include Hot Buttered Rum, Creamy Root Beer Rum Cocktail and these White Russians!
WHY THIS RECIPE WORKS:
- With only 3 ingredients it is easy to whip up.
- You can absolutely make more than one and even a pitcher if you’re serving guests.
- You can use any type of apple flavored beer that you like.
INGREDIENTS NEEDED:
Fireball whiskey
Apple cider or apple juice
Hard cider
Cinnamon sticks for garnish
See how simple this is. This recipe makes one drink which I like so you’re not stuck with a recipe that you want just one drink for, but you can absolutely make more.
We like to add some cinnamon sticks to ours to give it a little cinnamon flavor to the drink itself which I think really pairs well with Hard Cider anyways.
Let me show you exactly HOW simple this Fireball Hard Cider Recipe is to make below!
HOW TO MAKE FIREBALL HARD CIDER RECIPE, STEP BY STEP:

- Add ice and top with hard cider.
- Garnish with cinnamon sticks, optional.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN APPLE CIDER AND HARD CIDER?
Apple cider is unfiltered apple juice and does not contain alcohol. Hard Cider is more or less apple cider that has had alcohol put into it.
So you can buy your own apple cider and add some alcohol and it will be a hard cider or you can go to the liquor store and buy pre made hard cider in bottles or even jugs.
CAN I USE APPLE JUICE?
Yes you can. Apple juice will be less potent to in this as Apple Cider is unfiltered and will really bring out that apple flavor that we want, but you you do not have to use it.
Even know we are adding hard cider to this drink we also wanted to add some apple cider or you could use apple juice, we want that apple flavor to come through.
DO I HAVE TO USE FIREBALL?
The addition of Fireball is just one of our favorites because it gives it a little cinnamon kick to it and gives it just the slightest of kicks which we really enjoy.
You can absolutely leave it out if you like, but trust me, it is absolutely delicious when mixed in this combination, we have many people who drink this.
This actually has been one of our most requested recipes at our family gatherings so I always bring all the ingredients to make this Fireball Hard Cider for everyone to enjoy.
And enjoy they do! I haven’t had anyone turn this cocktail away, unless hey aren’t a fan of apple in the first place, but if you weren’t a fan of apple, you probably wouldn’t be here!
You can leave it out if you don’t want that cinnamon aspect but you could also add any other cinnamon flavored alcohol as well, your favorite brand.
For a stronger version off this you can add smaller portions of the cider and the hard cider with more fireball in a smaller glass. We do that sometimes as well.
There are so many ways to mix this and add as much of each ingredient that you like, this is just the standard recipe that we use for when we make it at home.
