WHAT IF I CANNOT FIND CARROT CAKE MIX?
We have come across this issue in the past so we have tried this with spice cake mix as well since we do add carrots to the batter, and it tastes just as great!
CAN THESE BE MADE IN THE AIR FRYER?
Happily I can say that yes these can be made in the air fryer! That is the fun part about experimenting with things, you find out other ways to make these.
You can make these in the air fryer in about batches of 4 at 300 degrees for 14 minutes! It’s great for those days that you don’t want to heat up the oven!
DO I HAVE TO DO THE CREAM CHEESE SWIRL?
No, this is completely optional but HIGHLY recommended. Remember how I said that it tastes like you are eating a carrot cake? That is why we do that.
You can also choose to use some cream cheese frosting from a can and spread them on the tops of these as well if you’d like!
HOW TO STORE:
These can be stored in the refrigerator where they will keep for up to 3-4 days.
They can also be frozen. Place cooled cookies in a freezer container where they will keep frozen for up to 1 months.
To defrost, remove from freezer and place in refrigerator overnight, you can then move them to the countertop before eating to come to room temperature.
