If you are like me and don’t want to shell out money for some of your favorite drinks or food from restaurants then this Copycat Medicine Ball Tea Recipe is exactly what you need.
This was originally on Starbucks secret menu, but now you can get it all the time but under the name Honey Citrus Mint Tea! Which really does a good job at telling you the flavors of this tea.
Now you absolutely do not have to be under the weather to enjoy this recipe, although the soothing effects from the honey and heat are great for a sore throat, this Medicine Ball Tea is great for every day drinking.
We make this all the time, doesn’t matter the season. I am an avid tea drinker and this is one of my favorite concoctions to make at home just when I’m thirsty.
I honestly think that everyone should keep this Copycat Medicine Ball Tea on their drink menu! With flavors or honey, lemonade, peach and mint the flavor combination is absolutely wonderful.

DOES THIS REALLY HELP WITH COLDS?
Now I am not a doctor or nutritionist so I cannot say for sure. There are people who swear that this Medicine Ball Tea really helps when they are under the weather.
The honey helps soothe sore throats, and the green tea has always been known to help fight inflammation. Also sipping on hot tea can help with clearing up sinuses.
While there is not any proven fact that this is a cure all, I always feel like drinking tea when I’m sick has helped with certain aspects, just don’t expect this to be something to cure you.
This is more or less a nice drink that you can make while you are under the weather that does have “some” healthier benefits and there really is nothing wrong with tea!
WHAT DOES THIS TEA TASTE LIKE?
Lemoney, with slight notes from the mint and peach, this is a fantastic flavor combo. Depending on the type of honey used, you may or may not get a honey flavor in the tea.
I used clover honey to make this recipe, but use whichever you prefer. It is slightly on the sweet side so if you want it less sweet then reduce the honey to 1 Tablespoon.
IS THIS TEA SWEET?
We like this more on the sweeter side, but if you are looking for less sweet then I suggest adding 1 Tablespoon less of the honey
Overall we find the balance of flavors nice and really enjoy this drink.
