Hey all, it’s that time of year again! I absolutely love the holidays! As much as I love to bake, this gives me a reason to go wild. I love getting together with family and friends and sharing great food and great company. Boy do I bake… I’m the girl who is known for giving away huge buckets of treats for the holidays that everyone loves!
I credit my baking addiction to my mom. Growing up I remember her baking up all sorts of treats for the holiday’s. I would put on my little apron and sit in the kitchen and help her. Which pretty much translated to me sitting there, playing with pans and eating cookie dough. Hey, we all got to start some where. Thank’s to her it is a tradition that I get to hand down to my own kids! At least I hope they will be as passionate about it as I am.

I absolutely love using my cast iron skillet to bake. So I decided that I would whip up this M&M’s® Holiday Skillet Cookie Cake! I headed on over to my local Walmart and picked up all the great stuff I needed. I grabbed Pillsbury™ Funfetti® Holiday Cake Mix, as well as the Holiday Vanilla Flavored Frosting. To give it a little twist I added some M&M’s® Hot Chocolate and M&M’s® Holiday Milk Chocolate. Now talk about delicious!!
While I was there I also picked up a gallon of Great Value Milk. What better way to wash this down than with a big tall glass. Speaking of milk, did you know that it is one of the most in demand but least donated products at our food banks? Every day hungry children and families in YOUR community are missing out on the essential nutrients supplied by milk. For a small donation at pourmilklove.com The Great American Milk Drive will deliver a gallon of milk to a family in need. To also help out you can purchase 2 bag’s of M&M’s® (Save $1.00 on ANY TWO (2) M&M’s® Chocolate Candies, 8 oz or larger with this coupon) from your local Walmart and up to a gallon of milk will be donated. What a great and simple way to help out our local families in need.

This recipe is seriously super simple to whip up! All you need to do is dump all your ingredients in one bowl, give it a quick stir and put it in your skillet. Don’t have a skillet? No worries, you can put this in a 9″ round baking pan as well.
After it’s cooked and cooled, add your Pillsbury™ Holiday Vanilla Flavored Frosting to a piping bag fitted with a large star tip and decorate away! Now you can decorate this however you want, go crazy! Lastly just toss some sprinkles from your frosting pack and you’re done!
Maybe you want to decorate it as a holiday wreath or a Christmas tree! I love all the great designs you can make with Pillsbury™ Holiday Vanilla Flavored Frosting, the possibilities are endless!!
