Sweet and Sour Chicken Wrap

Ok you guys all know how we like to keep things as simple as possible in the Tornadough Alli household right? I guess if you’ve been reading my blog for some time it’s obvious that this girl has like zero time for anything!

With 4 kids ages 3-12 running around it gets a little crazy at times, I’m sure you all can relate. Not to mention it’s basketball season here. So our weekends and weeknights are full of practices and tournaments. Sometimes when it comes to dinner all I want is something that doesn’t take more than 20-30 minutes from start to finish and tastes awesome.

Sweet and Sour Chicken Wrap

These Sweet and Sour Chicken Wraps are one of our weeknight go-to faves! They are made of 6 readily available ingredients: Minute® White Rice, Dole® Pineapple Chunks, Kikkoman® Sweet and Sour Sauce, Chicken, green onions and tortillas! Seriously you guys, can it get any more simple?

So we had a basketball tournament this past weekend with our first game starting at 9AM and last game at 2:15PM. Needless to say my boys were hungry, tired, sweaty and had no patience for mom being in the kitchen for more time then she had to. These Sweet and Sour Chicken Wraps proved to come in handy, and we’re scarfed down in no time flat.

Let me break down this simple dish a little bit for you, okay? Okay! So we start out with our Minute® White Rice, it’s a pantry staple,  whips up in literally 5 minutes, fluffy and delicious and enriched and already precooked for you. Then to give this dish an added sweetness we layered on some Kikkoman® Sweet and Sour Sauce.

Kikkoman® Sweet and Sour Sauce is already made so it’s one and done in that aspect, no extra needed for me to make a sauce for this wrap! Next we load on the chicken and Dole® Pineapple Chunks which are the perfect pairing to chicken, they are rich in Vitamin C and naturally fat-free! Score.

To finish this all up we sprinkled on some diced green onions and wrapped it all up and after that point there wasn’t much left of the story. They were devoured and I was asked when they would be made again, which is always something we love hearing in my household.
