Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pound sirloin steak trimmed and cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 3 bell peppers variety, any color, cut into 1-inch squares
  • 1 large red onion cut into 1-inch squares
  • 1 Tablespoon vegetable oil for brushing kabobs before grilling

Marinade:

  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • cup apple cider vinegar
  • ¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons garlic minced
  • 2 Tablespoons fresh parsley diced + extra for garnish
  • 1 teaspoon ground paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Mix, and add steak cubes. Refrigerate for minimum 2 hours, up to overnight.
  • Soak your skewers for at least 30 minutes while your steak marinates.
  • Heat grill to medium-high heat (about 375-400 degrees F).
  • Thread steak, peppers, and onions onto soaked or reusable skewers, alternating ingredients until full, starting and ending with steak cubes.
  • Brush kabobs on all sides with vegetable oil, then place on preheated grill.
  • Grill for 4 minutes then flip and grill another 3-4 minutes, or until the steak is cooked to your liking.
  • Remove from grill, top with fresh parsley, and serve.

Notes

  1. Sirloin steak is the steak of choice but other cuts can be used, see above on ideas.
  2. These can be frozen, see above on how to do that.
  3. Switch up your vegetables by adding mushrooms, white onions, zucchini, squash, cherry tomatoes, etc.
  4. Make sure that you marinate the steak for at least 2 hours or up to overnight.
  5. Make sure that you are brushing your kabobs before grilling so they do not stick.
  6. Soak your skewers for at least 30 minutes or use metal skewers instead.
  7. Serve these with your favorite sides, see ideas above.
  8. If you do NOT use the marinade, make sure that you season your steak with your favorite beef seasoning, although the marinade is recommended.
  9. You can eat the kabobs on the skewer or take off and place on a plate and eat with a fork.
