Want a fun spicy party food that the heat lovers in your life cant resist? This Flamin’ Hot Party Mix is easy, tasty and fun for all the get togethers!
So my kids are lovers of all things spicy. The spicier the better, I on the other hand prefer things more mild, call me a wimp, but that is just the way it is!
This Flamin’ Hot Party Mix is SUPER easy to whip up and everyone seems to love it. My 11 year old has become accustomed to wanting all things spicy when it comes to snacks and chips, so I figured I’d create the ultimate party mix.
WHY THIS RECIPE WORKS:
- You can doctor it up to whatever you like, there are so many different types of flamin’ hot chips around that anything would work.
- This whips up in minutes, literally dump, mix and serve, nothing is more simple than this recipe.
- If you have a heat lover in your life, they will enjoy this to no end, with different options, they have so many choices in just one handful.
Now I’m not going to say this is the most genius idea I’ve ever had, because it’s not. If you’re sensitive to heat, you know what I mean.
Maybe this recipe should come with a warning…but I take no responsibility when it comes to consuming this concoction and the after effects it may have lol, eat at your own risk.
I’m not saying this Party Mix is the hottest thing in the world, but it is perfect for those heat lovers in your life that just cant choose between which chips to pick up at the grocery store, this has them all.
HOW TO MAKE FLAMIN’ HOT PARTY MIX:
In large bowl add 1 1/2-2 cups each of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, Flamin’ Hot Fritos, Takis, Buffalo Wing Cheez-It’s, Flamin’ Hot Funyuns and Flamin’ Hot Doritos.
Mix them together and serve plain, or with any other dipping sauces you feel are suited for this recipe.
See, super simple, you can really doctor this up with the amounts of how much you want to add of each, if you prefer one thing more than the other, go ahead and add more of that specific snack.
WHAT IS A PARTY MIX?
So in definition, party mixes usually include a variety things like Chex cereal, pretzels, nuts or crackers. But we take a little spin on this and all things chip related.
Some of my other favorite party mixes include: Buffalo Ranch Snack Mix, Pumpkin Spice Snack Mix and this Ranch Nut’s and Bolts.
So a little backstory on what made me create this Flamin’ Hot Party Mix recipe is that my son recently celebrated his 11th birthday, and everyone was giving him all these Flamin’ Hot chips.
I knew that he loved them, especially Takis, so I figured why not and throw all of his favorite chips into one mix so he didn’t have to choose, and he was so happy that I did.
This Party Mix is great for football season, BBQ’s, parties, or just sitting down watching a movie. There really isn’t a good time to not have this snack.
HOW LONG IS PARTY MIX GOOD FOR?
I recommend eating it in one sitting, if you plan on having leftovers, make sure you place in an airtight container, chips are known to get stale when left out for periods of time.
