I know I can buy root beer rum. Would that work? I’d use it with vanilla ice cream.
Tornadough Alli
It will work, but I’m not exactly sure how much you would want to put in.

Anyone tried this with Dr. Pepper? Root beer and cream soda is too sweet for my taste.

If you don’t have spiced rum, can you use regular rum? Also what spices could be added?
Tornadough Alli
Regular rum will work fine. I havenโt tried adding spices to this unfortunately so Iโm not sure what would work the best.

This is so good! We used Sailor Jerry rum so it was a bit sweet, but very tasty! It tastes like a root beer float where the ice cream has melted.

Hi, this is sorta like one of my favorite drinks. I’ve been drinking this drink for years. It’s called Root Beer Float. You fill a 16 ounce gass with ice, (I use crushed ice). Add 3 shots of Irish Cream, top off the glass with Root Beer and enjoy! I have also taken the Irish Cream and Root Beer, and it to a blender, added ice cubes and blended on high till ice is completely blended in. Pour into glass. Kind of like a smoothie. Awesome!

This drink is awesome! However, l substituted the French vanilla creamer for RumChata. Why waste an opportunity to add more alcohol to a drink?! This is my new favorite evening drink while setting outside. Thanks for sharing!
