CAN I USE REFRIGERATED PIZZA DOUGH?
Yes you can, but trust me – this is one of the easiest bread recipes that you can make.
But if you do not want to mess around with the yeast of do not have everything on hand, you can absolutely use refrigerated pizza dough.
You just want to make sure that it fits a 9×13-inch pan. The texture and flavor may not come out the same.
WHAT CAN I SERVE THESE WITH?
There are endless possibilities that you can serve these Pizza Hut Cheese Sticks with, some of our favorites include:
- Baked Ziti with Meatballs

CAN I ADD OTHER SEASONINGS TO THESE CHEESE STICKS?
Yes! If you want you can add things like italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, a pizza seasoning, etc.
You can also choose to leave off what you do not like and easily make it your own flavor.
We really like how it is made, but switch it up and find out what you like best.
WHAT OTHER CHEESES CAN I USE?
While mozzarella and parmesan are the go-to in this recipe, you can switch it up with what you have or what you perfer.
Some other cheese that would go well with this recipe include:
- Pepper Jack
- Cheddar
- Monterey Jack
- Colby Jack
- Gouda
- 4 Cheese Blend
Whatever your cheese preference is you can absolutely use it in this recipe. Just make sure that you are using freshly shredded as it melts better.
HOW TO STORE:
These can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator where they will keep for up to 5 days.
They can also be frozen, place in a freezer bag or container and they will keep for up to 3 months.
To defrost, remove to the refrigerator until thawed. To reheat, the best way is to place in a foil pouch and reheat in the oven at 350 degrees F until heated through, this way they will not dry out.
Or cover with a damp paper towel and reheat in the microwave until heated through.

- You can use refrigerated pizza dough if you like.

- You can easily double this recipe in another 9×13-inch pan.
- Cut these as large or small as you’d like, we prefer 8 equal strips.
- Other seasonings can be added, see above on some ideas.
