Creamy, silky and delicious, this Salted Caramel Chocolate Dip is an addicting addition to your appetizer or dessert spread!
So I’m a dip person. Usually I lean more towards the savory dips like Spinach Artichoke Dip or like an Onion Dip of sorts. But when I came across a mix for a Salted Caramel Chocolate Dip at a specialty store a while back it went immediately on my must recreate list.
Now I never bought this dip, nor did they have any samples out, but the name totally just got the wheels turning in my head on how absolutely delicious it sounded so I knew I had to seriously give it a go at home. And holy crap you guys…this stuff is seriously, SERIOUSLY addicting.
I’m not even going to lie on this one, this is hands down my favorite dip ever. It puts all my savory faves to shame, for real. Plus its super simple. No chill time, or set up time needed whatsoever. And we all love a quick and easy recipe am I right? Well I know that I do!
So let’s get down to business. The main ingredient in this tempting treat is Devils Food Cake mix! Say what?!?! I know, how simple is that! I love using cake mixes for things other than cake, and it absolutely made this dip what it is! Plus the addition of the caramel and some sea salt and a few others and this dip comes together in a jiffy.
Now I don’t know what you like to serve your sweet dips with, but we used some pretzels and mini cookies for this. You could also use vanilla wafers, graham crackers or even some saltines…yes that’s right, saltines. Who doesn’t swoon over some salty sweet action, I mean you already have the salt in the dip so it kinda already makes sense.
This Salted Caramel Chocolate Dip is great for parties, gatherings, lunch, breakfast, snacks, desserts….you get where I’m going with this right? Yeah, it’s one of those things that is good WHENEVER and WHEREVER. I could literally eat it with a spoon…for reals.
Anyways, enough of my gushing about this stuff. All I’m saying is that if you have a little extra time in your day (say 5 minutes), you’re craving something different and seriously tasty then this Salted Caramel Dip is calling your name for sure!

If you are nervous on eating raw cake mix just pop it in the microwave or oven until it reaches 165 degrees and it will kill all bacteria in it ๐

This is beautiful. Normally I would have all of the ingredients on hand, which makes this super awesome for impromptu guests or gatherings. Currently I’m out of cream cheese (due for a trip to the store), but this is so happening very very soon! Can’t wait!
