A super easy and versatile recipe, this Avocado Ranch is a great dipping sauce or accompaniment to some of your favorite meals.
When it comes to an easy appetizer recipe, you absolutely cannot go wrong with this Avocado Ranch.
This dip is super simple to throw together and only takes about 5 minutes and readily available ingredients.
While we usually use this to dip our chips into, there are so many different things that you can do with it, some of which I will share below.
This Avocado Ranch is not lacking on flavor in any way, shape or form. You will get all the flavor in each bite, but it balances out so nicely.
We first tried this at Chili’s, but now it is all over the place with multiple restaurants serving a version of it, but we love making it in the comforts of our own how and now you can too.

INGREDIENTS NEEDED (FULL RECIPE AT BOTTOM):
Buttermilk
Mayonnaise
Avocado
Cilantro
Green onions
Garlic
Lime juice
Fresh dill
Salt
Ground cumin
Pepper
HOW TO MAKE AVOCADO RANCH, STEP BY STEP:
- Add the buttermilk, mayonnaise, avocado, cilantro, green onions, garlic, lime juice, dill, salt, cumin, and pepper to a food processor.
- Blend until mixture is smooth. Serve right away or transfer to a container to store in the refrigerator.
COMMON QUESTIONS ABOUT AVOCADO RANCH:
This makes about 2 cups, so you will have a good portion. Trust me it gets used fast, and does keep well.
This goes great with a lot of different things, we love it with tortilla chips, we also use it with our Southwest Egg Rolls.
Other things that we serve this with include: potato skins, wings, over tacos, taquitos, etc. Use it with whatever or on whatever you’d like!
While the fresh lime juice is best in this, you can substitute with bottled lime juice or you can also use white distilled vinegar.
Yes, this is the perfect recipe to make ahead. You can use it right away or you can store it in an airtight container for 5 days.

As stated above, this can be made in advance or you can use it right away. To store the Avocado Ranch, place in an airtight container where it will keep for up to 5 days.
We do not recommend freezing this recipe.
