- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F and line a 9x13” pan with parchment paper. 
- Make the brownie batter, in a large bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, melted butter and hot coffee until smooth; let cool. 
- Add the sugar, egg and vanilla and stir until combined. 
- Then add the flour, salt and baking powder until incorporated. 
- Stir in the chocolate chips and pour into prepared 9x13” pan. 
- Make the cookie dough by creaming the butter and sugars in the bowl of a stand mixer until light and fluffy. 
- Add the vanilla and egg and mix until combined. 
- Then add the salt, baking powder, baking soda and flour until incorporated. 
- Stir in the chocolate chips. 
- Drop by spoonful’s over the brownie batter. 
- Sprinkle the chopped chocolate over the brookies and bake for 30-35 minutes.
