Salted Caramel Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies
Who can resist the salted caramel? Throw in a little banana a chocolate while you're at it and you have yourself these utterly irresistible Salted Caramel Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies.
Servings: 24 cookies
- 1/2 cup butter , softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 bananas , mashed
- 2 tsp vanilla paste (or vanilla extract)
- 2 cup flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 Tbs cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup caramel bits
- Sea salt
Preheat oven to 375.
In bowl beat together your butter and sugars until smooth.
Add in your banana and vanilla and continue to beat until combined.
In another bowl whisk together your flour, baking soda, baking powder, cornstarch and salt.
Add your dry ingredients to your wet and stir until just combined.
Fold in your chocolate chips and caramel bits.
On a silpat lined baking sheet using a cookie scoop or rounded Tablespoon add your cookie dough.
Sprinkle with sea salt and bake for about 10 minutes or until slightly golden.
Remove from oven and let cool on pan for about 5 minutes before transferring to wire rack to cool completely.
