French Toast Bites
A fun and tasty breakfast, these French Toast Bites give you little poppable delights that you can drench in syrup and enjoy without the hassle of cutting.

- 6 slices Texas Toast or other thick-slice white bread
- 3 large eggs
- ½ cup whole milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 Tablespoons granulated sugar
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 Tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar for topping optional
- ½ cup maple syrup for serving/dipping
Cut each slice of bread into 9 equal bite-sized pieces.
Add eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and sugar to a small mixing bowl and whisk gently until combined.
Heat frying pan over medium heat.
Dredge each bread piece into egg mixture, being sure to submerge each piece, then place on a plate.
Melt butter in preheated frying pan, then add bread pieces in a single layer in the melted butter. Fry on each side until golden brown, about 1 minute on each side.
Allow to cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar, serve with syrup.
- Make sure you are using a thicker type of bread.
- Other milk can be used, see above on ideas.
- We do not recommend freezing this recipe.
- This goes great with any of your favorite breakfast dishes like eggs, fruit, etc.

- If you want, you can cut the crust off.
