- 2 ciabatta rolls sliced in half
- 2 Tablespoons olive oil
- ¼ cup basil pesto
- 2-4 slices of provolone cheese
- ¼ cup roasted red peppers
- ¼ pound deli turkey meat
Preheat a panini grill over medium heat. If you have a flat plate side to the panini maker, use that.
Brush the outside of both pieces of bread with olive oil.
Open the bread up and spread a generous amount of pesto on the inside of both sides of both rolls.
Place 1-2 pieces of cheese on the bottom piece followed by ¼ of the turkey.
Place some roasted red peppers on top followed by the top part of the roll.
Place the sandwich on the panini grill and close the lid. Cook for about 5-7 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the sandwich warm.
Slice in half and enjoy.
- If you like a cheesy sandwich, use 2 pieces of cheese instead of one.
